Eligibility Checklist

  • Have you earned 45 credit hours?
  • Do you plan to complete a different major at the University of Kentucky?  Have you completed a Bachelors degree somewhere else?

    • Yes -> Choose a different major
    • No -> If you meet the above requirements you can declare a Bachelor of Liberal Studies.

Graduation Checklist

  • Have you completed your track requirement ?

    • At least 12 hours at the 300 level
    • At least 6 hours at the 400+ level
    • 6 additional credit hours
  • Have you completed your additional major area track requirements (12 credit hours)?

    • At least 3 credit hours at the 300+ level in track 2
    • At least 9 credit hours of additional coursework in track 2
  • Have you completed WRD 430 (GCCR) ?
  • Have you submitted your Portfolio?
  • Do you have at least a major and cumulative GPA of 2.0?
  • Have you completed your College requirements?

    • Foreign Language
    • 6 credit hours of Natural Science
    • 6 credit hours of Social Science
    • Laboratory
    • 6 credit hours of Humanities
    • 6 credit hours of Electives
    • 39 credit hours of 300+ coursework
    • 90 credit hours of coursework in the College of Arts and Sciences
  • Have you completed at least 120 total credit hours?
  • Have you fulfilled the University’s residency requirement?
